The grand ceremony, held at the Hyatt in Chandigarh on 8e September, aimed at expressing gratitude to physicians for their selfless service and recognizing their importance and value in society.

Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, was the chief guest while Vijay Kumar Sampla, Chairman of the National Scheduled Caste Commission, was the guest of honor .

Kundan Kidney Care Center (Ayurvedic) received “Best Services Kidney Care (Ayurvedic) Award” for Ayurveda treatment of kidney disease.

PGIMER, Chandigarh was declared “Best Medical Institute in North India” while Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Science and Research, Amritsar received the “Best Charitable Medical Institute Award”.

Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur, received the “Best Cancer Medical Institute Award”. Amandeep Hospital, Amritsar was awarded “Excellence in Contribution – Orthopedics (North India)” for outstanding services in orthopedics. The award was received by Dr. Avtar Singh.
